
Salvador Dali Museum
Dali museum has been a touring site for school groups and adults age groups. The museum carries all the pride and interesting features loved by visitors. Dali is one of the most frequently visited sites with last year having over 2,300 tours in Tampa, FL travel.
Salvador Felipe Jacinta (Salvador Dali) was born in 1904 in Spain and attended the San Fernando Academy of fine arts. He was a great painter and became known after he painted the basket of bread (kept in the museum) up to date. He joined the surrealist and was made the leader of the group till his death.
As an artist he never concentrated on one particular type of style but explored different styles through his transitional surrealist works. He worked on all types of Medias and involved all types of artist works. He left great wealth of oils, Water colors, drawings, graphics, photographs, jewels, sculptors and objects of all description that have been stored in the museum up to date.

The Salvador museum contains old sculptures of earlier people and other artifacts well maintained. Among the collections therein are the beautiful crafts made by the Dali and the equipment and materials he used during the early times.
The management has resolved to build a new museum to protect the collections from external interference. The new building is believed to be more attractive and to welcome even more visitors.
