The John And Mable Ringling Museum Of Art

This Museum of art was built to house masterpieces by John Wringling and today it has got painting and sculptures from great old masters like Reuben, Titian, El Greco, Veronese, van Dyck and many more. There are several masterworks from the European, Asian, and American which make the Museum of Art an interesting place to visit. The designing of the Museum started in 1925 when Ringling approached John H. Philips so as to design the Museum.

The construction work started in 1927 and it was immediately slowed down due to the collapse of Florida land boom followed by Wall Street Stock Market crash.
