In November 1986, the Ruth Eckerd Hall received the Government Design Award for its excellent architecture. Ruth Eckerd Hall was made the only center of cultural activity in September 1999.

Ruth Eckerd Hall is of 73000 square foot. It is a 2180 seated auditorium. The Florida Orchestra performs at this hall on a regular basis. A total of 200 events are held at this hall every year. A variety of events are performed ranging from musical shows, comedies, dance performances, orchestras.
