Travel in Clearwater and you will find that Clearwater is well known for its special events all throughout the year. The events are important places. Localities and people from all over the world visit different places in Clearwater to view the events.

One of the ongoing events of Clearwater is The Gulfport Art Walk. The venue of the Art Walk is on Beach Blvd in Gulfport. The Art walk is open to the visitors every 1st Friday and 3rd Saturday of the month. Visitors can visit the place between 6 to 10pm. Some of the interesting features of the art work is music is played. All shops remain open. There are street eateries, ecstatic restaurants near the Beach Blvd. It is the best place for the upcoming artists to show their talent through their work.

A monthly event is organized by DAA called the Second Saturday Gallery Work. The venue of this event is St. Petersburg Downtown Arts Association. On the second Saturday of every month, the galleries remain open for long hours more than usual. The galleries exhibit the works of artists. The artists sometimes are present at the venue to answer to the questions of the visitors. This events are open to all and usually do not charge anything from the public.

Another important event is Canoe and Kayak to find treasures. At Lowry Park Zoo, you can view over 2200 of animals. The Sunsets at Pier 60 is another special event where arts and crafts are displayed. A wide variety of music is played here. The market in the park is open to the visitors on every Saturday between 8am to 1 pm. Various kinds of produces, species of plants are available here.

There are some events scheduled to be featured in places like Ruth Eckerd, the Mahaffey Theater, Twilight of the Gods, Capitol, St. Pete Times Forum.
