Centrally located in the heart of downtown Tampa, Tampa Convention Center can be easily reached from Interstate 4, Interstate 275 and Interstate 75. To make your self-driving tour hassle free, driving directions from various parts of Tampa and neighboring cities are provided in the following part. Those are just suggested routes. From Clearwater & St. Petersburg:
- Merge onto I-275 and take it north
- Exit 44
- Follow signs onto Tampa Street when highway splits
- Take the middle lane and stay on it

From Bradenton, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Venice, Naples & Sarasota:
- Merge onto I-75 and take it north

Notes: The above directions are leading directly to Tampa Convention Center Garage. If you are heading to the Upper Dock servicing Central, West and East Halls, the loading dock entrance can be accessed from 1/2 block south of Brorein Street. The Platt Street Loading Dock is servicing Ballrooms and Meeting Rooms of Tampa Convention Center. It's easily accessible from Platt Street.
