The park falls slightly out of the city of Tampa, but is not deserted at all.
The park has several fans and you can find many students from the nearby University of South Florida having some time off, or reading a book or chatting with friends under the shade of the several trees. If you are accompanied by kids, then they would love to let their foot loose in one of the playgrounds or open play fields. For health conscious minds, the park has several boardwalks for running or walking on it. Moreover, there are trails for those who would love to hike their bike.
