On the whole, there are about thirty five species of big cats, of which about fourteen are being housed in the Big Cat Rescue's sanctuary. The total number of cats in this sanctuary has recently increased to a hundred. Now there are tigers, lions, leopards, caracals, lynx, bobcats etc. held at the sanctuary. The spay and play is a program where a person who can prove that he/she has spayed or adopted a pet in the past one year, and get a free pass. The sanctuary also conducts many educative and interactive sessions with many school children to give them the scenario of these big cats. They even conduct many fund raiser programs to financially aid themselves and other animal organizations as well.
